GUAM – Guam Buildup News, which publishes the web’s only daily business news site for coverage of federal government business and military buildup spending in Guam, advises readers of possible service interruptions this weekend.

The company will be making updates to its server beginning Friday night, Guam time, potentially resulting in some interrupted access to the web site through the weekend.

“The interruptions should be minimal, and we expect all service to be restored by Monday,” said Leon Colaco, GBN president. “The work is part of routine maintenance to keep the site’s various features optimized.”

The site supports a fully searchable news archive now containing over 600 original stories, an interactive job listing service, a business directory with over 4,000 company and government listings, and customizable commercial advertising space. Updates to the digital platform also support a growing audience of visitors who search the web site from mobile tools like Androids, BlackBerries, iPads, iPhones and other smart phones, in addition to their desktop computers and laptops.
