GUAM – The Pacific Air Forces has issued a solicitation for a woman-owned small business to supply conference room guest chairs for Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

Andersen AFB needs 16 chairs with curved or straight arms, legs and frame in mahogany-colored hardwood. The seat cushions and backs should be fully upholstered and covered in black leather or leather-like material, Pacific Air Forces said in solicitation number BUCHANAN-N4155711RC198FS-CHAIRS.

All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database in order to be considered for award.

Responses to this request for quotes must be received via email by 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on September 1.

Additional details are available here.

The contract is one of a series of recent opportunities for small business contractors to supply Andersen Air Force Base with furniture and other smaller goods and services. In recent months, Andersen AFB has issued requests for furniture for offices, family housing and the fitness center, as well as for athletic equipment, bed linen, magnetic runway sweepers, pressure washers and other items.

The contracts represent business opportunities with the Department of Defense for qualified small businesses, outside of larger contracts such as computer system upgrades, janitorial services and construction projects.
