Guam – Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Marianas has issued a presolicitation for paving work at airfields on Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands.

The work, being procured for the 36th Contracting Squadron at Andersen Air Force Base, includes “furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, quality control and supervision necessary to provide airfield paving on all federal facilities on Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands,” according to presolicitation number N4019211R6011.

As the Joint Region agent overseeing Air Force and Navy procurement staff, NAVFAC Marianas is tentatively scheduled to issue an official solicitation on August 8.

The contract will be for a base period and two option periods of 12 months each, with a minimum guarantee of $10,000 for the life of the contract. NAVFAC is considering issuing it as an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity, firm fixed price contract.

“The Government may elect to award multiple IDIQ contracts under this solicitation,” the announcement said. Offers will be solicited on an unrestricted basis with no set asides.

Interested firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration in order to be considered for award.
